Copper can be protected from corrosion by a monthly wipe over in oil such as olive oil. Alternatively can be sealed permanently with a copper and brass sealing lacquer such as Wattyl Clear Lacquer Finish, available through paint supplied stores.
Should be installed using a non-sanded grout and using a rubber grout trowel/float.
