Estimate how many mosaic sheets you need for a wall or floor. Enter one or more rectangular areas, choose a wastage allowance, and use the sheet dimensions shown on your chosen product.
Your estimate
- Total tiled area
- Wastage allowance
- Area including wastage
- Coverage per sheet
- Estimated sheets required
Sheet quantities are rounded up to the next whole sheet. Quantities are estimates: cuts, layout, breakages, site conditions and installer requirements can affect the final order. Confirm quantities before ordering if you are unsure.
How the tile quantity calculator works
The calculator adds the areas of your rectangles, applies your chosen wastage percentage, then divides by the rectangular coverage of one sheet. For example, 2 × 3 m with 10% wastage gives 6.6 m². With 300 × 300 mm sheets (0.09 m² each), the estimate is 74 sheets.
For interlocking or irregular sheets, check the product's stated coverage rather than assuming its outer dimensions represent coverage. This first version estimates whole sheets, not boxes, grout or adhesive.
