ExoTiles is based in Broke, a small town in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.
The Hunter Valley is one of the main tourist destinations of NSW for its beautiful landscapes and wineries.
Broke is on the western side of the Hunter Valley and although it does not see the sheer volume of visitors that Pokolbin does, it has some unique offerings that other parts do not.
Mead and local flavours
Broke is home to Honey Wines Australia, a local mead producer. Mead is an alcohol made from fermented honey instead of grapes. It offers a different way to explore the region’s local drinks.

Broke also has an alpaca farm where you can hand feed the animals as well as hosting weddings and accommodation on site.
You can also explore local wineries and distilling, with opening hours and experiences varying between venues.
At certain times of the year there is also a lavender farm which has many lavender based products available in addition to being somewhere great for photos amongst the fields of lavender.
Not far to the south is the historic town of Wollombi which retains many of its heritage buildings.
